A TRULY SWEET GREYHOUND WHO

TOUCHED THE HEART OF EVERYONE

WHO MET HIM

SCHATZE

A quote from his foster mom:
"He is an incredibly beautiful dog.  I know, I know, they all are....but sometimes one comes along who steals your breath...Schatze is one of them.

Another quote from his foster mom:
"I was pulling in to the parking lot to get him, when I locked eyes with him...and my heart skipped a beat."

From his mom:
Schatze was a truly sweet animal.  With his toothless smile and his Orphan Annie eyes, he was sure to melt anyone's heart.  He was no bother at all, never gave us a problem, just a true joy to know and be around.  We were blessed to be able to have him in our home for the six months we had him.  Schatze left an impression on everyone who met him, he touched many lives.  From the minute I set eyes on him, in person, in a parking lot in the West Virginia mountains, I fell in love.  My husband looked in and then said to me "Oh my God, He is beautiful".  I felt the same.  What we didn't know then was that he was even more beautiful on the inside.  I am sure he is a shining spirit in heaven.  Both my husband and I fell blessed to have know this greyhound and to have loved him so much.

REMEMBERED WITH LOVE

AND LIVING FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

JILL WIRTEL

Friends

Packing up the dreams God planted
In the fertile soil of you
Can't believe the hopes He's granted
Means a chapter in your life is through

But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways

Will keep the love that keeps us strong

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say "never"
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long to live as friends.

With the faith and love God's given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy you'll live in
Is the strength that now you show

But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong
