Goodbye Dear Jack
Jack as a puppy
drawn by his Mom, Bonnie
Jack...I will never forget how you always met me at the door.
You were always so happy to see me.
Now I come home to a quiet house
wishing you were still here. I miss you so much!
always remember how you liked us to chase you.
If we left our shoes unattended outside,
you would grab them and run.
It was your way of playing tag.
I will miss your games this summer!
I always had to keep an eye on you or you would steal your
gifts from your Christmas stocking.
You always looked forward to opening your treats at Christmas.
I hope you have lots of dog cookies waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
always made me feel safe at night.
If you heard a noise, you always let me know.
I know somehow you are keeping a close watch on us.
Till we meet again....
Love and Hugs to my sweet Jack!
have a special place, dear Lord
that I know you'll always keep
a special place reserved for dogs
when they quietly fall asleep
with large and airy kennels
and a yard for hiding bones
with maybe a little babbling creek
that chatters over stones
with wide green fields and flowers
for those who never knew
about running freely under
your sky of perfect blue
Lord, I know you keep this Special Place
and so to you I pray,
for one special dog of ours
who died quietly today
he was full of strength and love
and so very, very wise
the puppy look he once had
was starting to leave his eyes
he is dearly missed my lord
be a very good friend of mine
he went to join his ancestors
to your land that is divine
so, speak to Jake softly please
and give him a warm hello
he's a special gift to you dear lord
from his family who loved him so.

|Jacob, our sweet baby boy, Mama's moosie, Daddy's baby, we miss you so much! You touched our hearts and will be with us forever. We wish that we could have had you here with us longer but we will cherish the time that we had. You were the sweetest, gentlest dog, you loved everyone and everything. Your time on earth was cut short, but you are in a better place, no more pain or suffering. We love you Moose and miss you so very, very much. There will never be another one like you buddy! Hope you are at the Bridge with your furry sister, Tonya, she'll take care of you! Until we meet again...|
